Our Story
Hey y'all! Thank you for stopping by. We would like to tell you a little bit about us and how Trixie Dixie Corgis came about. After college, marriage and a little boy it was time for us to make the move back home near our family. So, we bought a farm and headed back. What does every cattle/horse farm need? A dog of course! My husband went and picked up Miss Dixie while our son was at school. It was quite a surprise to our son who was only five at the time. Shoot, who am I kidding? I might have been even more excited than our son! Miss Dixie was the first dog on our farm and the start of a love that we had no idea would overtake our hearts. That is how Trixie Dixie Corgis was born.
The love for all of our dogs is shared by this family of three. Our goal is to raise healthy, happy puppies with the best temperament. Whether you are single or have a family of five, we want one of our puppies to fit in perfectly to your home.
Meet The Parents
Meet Jolene. You know the Dolly Parton song, but do you know the lyrics? "Please don't take my man, Jolene". If I was a corgi female, I would be worried Jolene would take my man too! She is gorgeous. She has an impressive lineage of show champions.
Adelyn is a girl that we raised. She is out of Lori Darling and Rio. If you were lucky enough to own a Lori and Rio baby, you know everything about Adelyn! Kindness runs through every part of her.
Ruby is the perfect mix of loves to be a ranch dog but also loves to be pampered! As you can see here, she enjoys showing off after playing in the mud! She is a beautiful sable color with the happiest personality.
Charlotte is a female that we raised. She is out of Fancy and Rio. We got the best of both of them when we got her. She is independent and smart but still chill enough to go with the flow.
Check out this stud muffin! Meet Hank. He is the handsome guy at the party that everyone wants to be friends with...especially the ladies. Wink wink. He has this confident trot but this wholesome smile and outgoing personality. We do not own Hank, but we have had the opportunity to add his lineage into our program. Therefore, I wanted to ensure that I featured him here as we do have puppies that he has sired currently.
Rio might just be the most laid back stud dog you will ever meet! When people ask about his temperament, it's easy; cool as a cucumber! This temperament is passed on to almost all of his offspring. So, if laid back is what you are looking for, one of his puppies is exactly what you have been waiting for. Another interesting tidbit about Rio is his grandpa is a European import. You can likely pick that up when you look at his disposition.
Look at this handsome guy! Reggie is not only a show champion, but he is a working cow dog here on the ranch too. He has a strong herding instinct that he passes on to his puppies. Want to know what one of his most favorite things to do other than to ride in the tractor? He LOVES to swim!
